Anticipated Outcomes
On completing their studies, our students will be able to:
- Understand how businesses and organisations function
- Recognise how policies and systems affect people’s roles
- Explore their own ambitions, strengths, and personal development needs
- Identify career options which might best suit them, including but not limited to, University or the Professions, Industry and (Degree) Apprenticeships, Consumer, Entertainment & Sport, Education, Financial Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Public Service, including HM Forces, Retailing, Technology & IT Services, Traditional Creative Crafts and Trades, or starting their own business
Collectively, we also:
- encourage entrepreneurial thinking,
- help students turn hobbies or interests into potential business ideas, or simply
- discover a meaningful next step into Higher education or the Workplace.
- With the above in mind, our Founding Trustee, Sandy Saunders has accepted an invitation from a local school to address its Young Enterprise Club. Two teams from Year 12 or Lower Sixth will set up their own real businesses, with a bank account and hope of making a profit!, and Sandy has been asked to give them some useful ideas and share his background.
