Background

Whilst launching the Beacon Educational and Vocational Training (EVT) Bursary Fund, it appeared that a number of A-level students appeared to have little idea of their future Career Path.

• This may well have impacted on them being confidence that the Degree course they may have chosen might not be the most appropriate
  
• To help them with their future career. Indeed, without having given sufficient thought, or received considered guidance, as to what that career might be
  
• it could be that an alternative option to going on to University might be to enter into some form of Apprenticeship, or to seek traditional employment.
